I think this is fairly new. From what I gather, companies or whomever post tasks (dont pay too much) that you can go post on a blog, write a comment etc. Doesn't hurt to try it when your sitting around board or if you get a job from one of the other companies listed here...while your waiting on calls. Here is some brief information:

ShortTask is based on the idea that there are still many online jobs that cannot be fully replaced by technology. Whether it's researching detailed information, transcribing audio or video recordings, identifying objects in photographs or videos, or creating written content, some jobs are just better done by humans.

From this inescapable truth, ShortTask was born. I ran across this company the other day doing some research on telecommuting jobs. And if i was reading everything correctly, seems as though they offer BENEFITS!

Staffing at Home is a work at home company that I found that seems to offer legitimate work at home jobs. There is a one time fee of $5 to register and this puts you in their database. They specialize in Customer Service, Data Entry, Inbound/Outbound Telemarketing, Order Processing and Technical Support. Here is an excerpt from their site:
